Big names in India's budding fashion industry are diversifying into chocolates, flowers and more.
They are following in the footstep of major Western labels like Christian Dior, with its clothes, cosmetics and perfumes.
Top Indian designer JJ Valaya's flower boutique is touted as India's first, and only the second of its kind in the world.
Here, he sells not bouquets, but what he calls "flower installations".
The personalised floral creations are an extension of his popular fashion label, and it is part of a move by Indian designers to go beyond the catwalk.
Said Mr Valaya, "We're looking at strategic corporate tie-ups which could enable us to take the label, make it grow faster with the vision we have in our mind. And I think for that it is imperative that brand extensions, relevant brand extensions, be exploited." ...
